Raw water like surface water, ground water is requiring pre- treatment and post treatment before sued for different industry processes and applications. Disinfection is required to remove microbiological contamination from water.

Purita offers following products in the area of disinfection of raw water;

  • TERSUS® Chlorine Dioxide [CLO2] System
  • TERSUS® Electro-chlorination [ECP] System
  • TERSUS® UV System
  • TERSUS® Ozone System

The preferred technologies applied are Chlorine Dioxide / Electro-chlorination in Pre-treatment. In the pre- treatment step, they are usually added post clariflocculator / in clarified water to optimize the consumption and provide effective disinfection of water at the pre-filter level ensuring reliable residual levels in ensuring down-stream filters are free of algae growth and water hygiene is maintained up to filtered water outlet water i.e. potable water for further use.

Similarly, all the above-stated technologies are preferred for the Post-Treatment of final filtered water.
