Raw Water Treatment (Potable Water)
Raw water like Industrial Development Corporation piped water supply, direct surface water, ground water is requiring pre- treatment and post treatment before sued for different industry processes and applications. Disinfection is required to remove microbiological contamination from water.

The preferred technologies applied are Chlorine Dioxide / Electro-chlorination in Pre-treatment. In the pre- treatment step, they are usually added into the Raw water collection tank as per site condition and requirement. The purpose of such treatment is to prevent bacterial growth in the collection tank.
For further treatment, it is suggested to use additionally UV Technology / Ozone Generator / AOPs as a full proof solution to prevent the any kinds of bacterial, virus, fungi, algae etc., being carried forward in the potable water.
Fruits & Vegetables Processing (Washing)
The water disinfection is now becoming more and more important for Food Industry, where food safety and quality is very critical to control. The washing & disinfection of Fruit & Vegetables prior to processing is very important in any food industry. The Fruits and Vegetable washing & disinfection is required to remove dirt and controlling bacteria, microbiological count from food, to increase shelf life of product.
Similarly, Water disinfection is essential for the bottle rinsing (for liquid food products) and washing of conveyor belts through a pre-installed spray nozzle system to ensure complete hygiene in handling of food products & its contacts parts.
By conventional method, chlorine is used as disinfectant for fruits & vegetable washing. But, as a latest trend Chlorine Dioxide is one of the strongest and safe alternative disinfectants has replaced hazardous chlorine / bleach. Chlorine Dioxide is register and approved with EPA and is considered as excellent bactericide, fungicide and antimicrobial agent. ClO2 is a low reactivity with organic matter. In addition, chlorine dioxide and its main by-products chlorite (ClO2-) are classified as non- carcinogenic products.
